British Gas is offering a £69 boiler service to help homeowners prepare their heating systems for winter.
The offer, which includes safety checks and maintenance, is available to all customers until 8th September.
Regular servicing is important for efficient operation and warranty maintenance.
Key signs that a boiler may need attention include leaks, a yellow pilot light, frequent pilot light outages and unusual noises.
Joanna Flowers, a service and repair engineer at British Gas, said: “During the warm summer months, heating our homes is the last thing people want to think about.
“However, while your boiler isn’t running at full capacity, it’s the perfect time to get it serviced to ensure that it’s in good working condition for when the cold weather arrives.
“What’s more, it can also prolong the lifespan of your boiler and help to save on bills by ensuring it’s operating efficiently.”
